Site Build It (SBI) is a website hosting company that offers a lot of tools for helping you build a website.

Do you recommend SBI?

No, because they are not compatible with XSitePro.

SBI is a good company with the right focus (the customer), however using XSitePro make building websites so much easier I just can't recommend you sign up with them.

They are compatible with Dreamweaver (another site building program) so if you own Dreamweaver give them a try.

Doesn't SBI have its own site builder program?

Yes they do. I built a website using SBI's builder program. It was very slow and not easy to use; if you want to change something on a page later it isn't easy to do either.

What about all the software SBI has?

It is true SBI has some great software for their customers, but most of it can be found other places.

The biggest reason I used SBI to build a site was for their web page optimization and XSitePro has that built in.

Is XSitePro faster than SBI?

You'll have a better website up using XSitePro in 1/4 the time it would take to build it on SBI.

So why did you bring up SBI?

Like I said SBI has its heart in the right place and they offer some great e-books to help you get started building websites.

I'll give you a link to download them if you like toward the bottom of this page. They are all free and do contain great information.

Would you use SBI again?

Yes, if they provide a way to upload my sites from XSitePro.

I did feel that I needed to let you know about this before reading the e-books since SBI does plug their website, and why shouldn't they? They did write the books.
